VStory Kids ("we", "us") is operated by [YOUR FULL NAME / COMPANY], [ADDRESS], Cyprus. We create personalized storybooks and animated movies. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you place an order, you give us: your name and email address; your child's first name, age and the pronoun to use; photos of your child; and the details you choose to share about them (personality, interests, a dedication). Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
Why we use it
We use this information only to create and deliver your story, to contact you about your order, and to keep the records the law requires. Our legal basis is the contract with you and, for children's photos, your consent as the parent or legal guardian.
Children's photos
Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage, are accessible only to our studio, and are used only to create your story. We delete them within 60 days after delivery. We never sell or share them, and we never use them to train AI models.
To create the illustrations and animation we use AI generation services. Photos and descriptions may be processed by these providers solely to produce your order.
Sharing your story (optional)
When you order a movie, you can choose to give us permission to use the finished storybook and movie in our marketing (our YouTube channel, website, social media and advertising) in exchange for a $15 discount. You sign this permission electronically when ordering, and we keep a record of it. We only publish a story if you gave this permission. You can ask us to change your child's name in anything we publish. We never publish the original photos you upload.
You can withdraw this permission at any time by writing to hello@vstorykids.com. We'll stop new use and remove the content we control. Withdrawing doesn't change the price you paid.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time by writing to hello@vstorykids.com. You also have the right to complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (website hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), an email delivery provider, and AI generation tools to make the stories. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
